Alien Supercivilizations Absent from 100,000 Nearby Galaxies

昨天的日报，已有天文学家小组根据戴森球（Dyson spheres）中的热力学理论来检视星系群，超级文明为获取能量可能会拆除行星建造围绕恒星包裹的收集器，这会产生可检测的中红外辐射，然而近十万颗星系群都未发现异常亮度或颜色。

即使先进文明不建造戴森球，这种检测也适用于银河系尺度上的任何其他能源密集型「天体工程」，然而没有，宇宙仍然寂静。
