This subclade can be considered a Zagrosian Neolithic Farmer branch of haplogroup J2. Its origin within this individual is most likely linked to Pontic Greek, Armenian, or South Caucasus lineages from the historical Ottoman-Safavid borderlands.
The lineage may have later been assimilated into the military apparatus of Qizilbash-related groups or the local Kurdish tribal infrastructure, such as the Milan Confederacy. It was subsequently relocated to Khorasan during the strategic population transfers enacted by the Safavids and Afsharids to guard the empire's northeastern frontier.
