Biography:
Alireza Mashaghi is a physicist and a medical scientist at Leiden University and Harvard Medical School. In the course of his academic career, he has been affiliated with various institutions including Max Planck Institute, ETH Zurich, Delft University of Technology, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Harvard. At Max Planck Institute, he was involved in the development of fluorescence correlation spectroscopy as well as high-resolution NMR spectroscopy for biological applications. Further, he did postdiploma work in materials science at ETH Zürich, where he designed and conducted various projects on nanotechnology, surface science, and optical/plasmonic sensing....
