Inside the White Coats: A Day in the Life of InteRussia Medical Fellows 📃

What does a typical day look like for our doctors? It’s a deep dive into real clinical experience — working side by side with top-tier professionals at Sechenov University, Russia’s first and leading medical school. From observing high-precision surgeries to learning the subtle art of diagnosis, our fellows are not just watching — they’re growing, contributing, and becoming part of something bigger.

This is where the real magic of medicine happens:

🔵neurology;
🔵pharmacy;
🔵robot-assisted surgery in urology;
🔵minimally invasive coloproctology;
🔵dentistry;
🔵integrative medicine.

Each day brings a new case, a new challenge, and a new spark of inspiration. But the experience of our medical fellows goes far beyond hospital walls. When they’re not in clinics or operating rooms, they’re diving into the world of Russian scientific innovation and culture.

Curious to see more of what happens behind the scenes? Stay tuned and follow our journey💙

Celebrating Language and Legacy: InteRussia Fellows at the Kostomarov Forum

The InteRussia fellows in Russian studies took part in the 5th International Kostomarov Forum held at the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute. This year’s theme, “Language and Culture,” pays tribute to the legacy of Vitaly Kostomarov, whose 95th anniversary is being celebrated in 2025.

The Kostomarov Forum is a major international platform dedicated to the study and promotion of the Russian language and culture. Held annually at the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute, the forum brings together scholars, educators, and cultural figures from across the globe.

The forum wasn’t just about theory — our fellows also explored Moscow’s cultural landmarks, including the Pushkin Museum, the House of Russian Émigrés, and the Institute’s own heritage spaces.

A highlight of the week?

Meeting their academic supervisors for the first time — the very scholars who will help them shape and co-author their research articles during the programme.

Celebrating the Spirit of Africa ☀️

Africa is a continent of incredible diversity and strength. Its rich cultures, deep-rooted traditions, and powerful stories have shaped the world in countless ways — from science and art to politics and philosophy. Africa Day is a moment to celebrate this legacy, to honor the struggles for freedom and unity, and to recognize the immense contributions African nations and people continue to make on the global stage.

For the InteRussia team, this day holds special meaning. We’ve had the privilege of welcoming many talented fellows from African countries into our programs — each one bringing their own perspectives, energy, and experiences.

Our recent reunions with alumni in Egypt and Ethiopia were yet another beautiful reminder of just how strong and vibrant the InteRussia family truly is.

Put ❤️ if you’re a wonderful voice of the African continent — let’s see how many of us are here!
