From October 3 to 5, Moscow transformed into a global runway as it hosted the BRICS+ Fashion Summit. Our budding reporters found themselves thrust into a whirlwind of silk, sequins, and style diplomacy, where a perfectly tailored suit could speak volumes about international relations.

The BRICS+ Fashion Summit stands as a pivotal platform for global fashion dialogue and cooperation. This year's event drew delegates from over 100 countries, including first-time attendees from Mongolia, Congo, El Salvador, Laos, and Qatar. The summit's agenda wove together diverse threads: a business forum tackling support for local brands, an educational intensive course for designers, and the “Heritage” exhibition showcasing the influence of BRICS cultural legacies on contemporary fashion.

Last month, Skoltech transformed into a vibrant home for bright minds from Azerbaijan, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Kazakhstan, Mali, Nigeria, Tunisia, and Sierra Leone. These are our fellows in the InteRussia in Agrobiotechnologies and Wireless Technologies. For four weeks, they've lived and breathed innovation, turning Moscow into their laboratory of ideas and cross-cultural exchange.
