What do hockey and Swan Lake have in common? 👀

Swan Lake, the Tretyakov Gallery, a sightseeing tour around Moscow — this is usually how our cultural program looks. But this time, we decided to surprise the InteRussia fellows and took our doctors to a hockey game.

⛸The air was thick with tension and excitement — every move on the ice was met with a murmur of expectation and bursts of cheers from the stands!

From Stage to Soul: Unveiling the Art of Russian Theatre 🎭

"All the world's a stage," Shakespeare once wrote, but for 28 intense days, Moscow became the epicenter of theatrical exploration for actors from BRICS+ countries. The InteRussia theatre fellowship, which concluded last week, was more than just a training program — it was a cultural odyssey into the heart of Russian theatre.

Let's review the cornerstone experiences of our fellows' Russian theatre immersion:

⭐️ 4 core training disciplines: Stage Movement, Stage Speech, Active Analysis of Play and Role, and Actor's Mastery

⭐️ 3 lectures on K.S. Stanislavski's method, his students, and the global influence of his System

⭐️ Visits to 4 renowned theatres: Bolshoi Theatre, Maly Theatre, Kremlin Palace, and GITIS Training Theatre

⭐️2 cultural experiences: A Moscow city tour and a visit to Mosfilm studios

⭐️ In-depth analysis of 1 classic play: Anton Chekhov's "The Seagull"

The stage lights may have dimmed in Moscow, but the spotlight now follows our fellows to their home countries. What groundbreaking performances will they create next? How will they revolutionize their local theatre scenes? Follow their journeys and be part of the next act in global theatre.

Want to write your own chapter in this international drama? Stay tuned for our next fellowship announcement!

P.S. And may you always have a little dragon in your soul as a reminder of your best days in Russia!
