Telling the World’s Stories: InteRussia at MediaLab BRICS 📢

From April 27 to May 1, young journalists from across the BRICS countries came together in Kazan for MediaLab BRICS — an international media school designed to dive into global media trends, explore the rich culture of Tatarstan, and collaborate on a cross-border journalism project.

Among the distinguished experts were our InteRussia fellows:

🖇Janvi Sonaiya, IANS India Private Limited reporter;
🖇Reza Edalatipour, Iran Newspaper journalist.

Both reflected on the ethical and practical challenges faced by international reporters in today's rapidly evolving media landscape. Their stories sparked open, thoughtful conversations — and reminded everyone why honest, involved, and precise journalism still matters.

We’re proud to see our InteRussia fellows shaping the future of global media discourse.
