Our InteRussia agrobiotechnology fellows just got a glimpse into the heart of Russia's agricultural powerhouse — PhosAgro!
As Europe's largest producer of phosphate-based fertilizers and the world's top manufacturer of high-grade phosphate rock, PhosAgro produces over 50 types of mineral fertilizers, powering farms across 102 countries. Their eco-friendly products help feed nearly half the world's population, making PhosAgro Russia's number one fertilizer exporter and a pioneer in solutions tackling climate change and environmental challenges.
They explored PhosAgro's state-of-the-art educational center at the Russian State Agrarian University. Here's what they experienced:
