The InteRussia fellowship for energy specialists from Latin America has officially come to an end at Saint Petersburg State University of Economics.
Over four intensive weeks, young professionals from Argentina, Peru, Bolivia, Uruguay, Cuba, Chile, Ecuador and Brazil immersed themselves in Russia’s fuel and energy complex — exploring modern infrastructure, exchanging expertise with leading Russian specialists, and building lasting professional connections.
What did our fellows experience during the programme?
🔷 Attended expert lectures and discussions on artificial intelligence in energy, environmental security, and the impact of global crises on energy markets
🔷 Visited key facilities of Transneft, Gazprom headquarters, Mosenergo and other major companies of the Russian energy sector
🔷 Took part in an educational programme across two cities — Moscow and St. Petersburg
🔷 Combined professional immersion with a rich cultural agenda: sightseeing tours, Peterhof, Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve and VDNKh
This chapter ends — but the connections don’t. We thank all the fellows for their enthusiasm, openness and active participation.

The InteRussia international energy fellowship programme is implemented at the premises of UNECON in cooperation with the Mezhdunarodniki Autonomous Non-Profit Organisation, the Gorchakov Fund, and the TV BRICS international media network, supported by the Global Energy Association, the Russian Energy Agency (REA) of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the National Committee for Economic Cooperation with Latin American Countries, and the Presidential Grants Fund.
