InteRussia energy fellows from Latin America visited the ATOM Museum at VDNH, exploring the history, development and future of Russia’s nuclear industry.
During the guided tour, the fellows:
🔷 learned about key milestones in nuclear energy and Russian nuclear science;
🔷 explored modern nuclear technologies through interactive exhibits;
🔷 visited the special exhibition Atomarium and learned about particle acceleration, nuclear fusion and the principles behind a reactor.
The visit gave the fellows an opportunity to better understand the role of nuclear energy in today’s energy landscape and its future development.
The InteRussia international energy fellowship programme is implemented at the premises of UNECON in cooperation with the Mezhdunarodniki Autonomous Non-Profit Organisation, the Gorchakov Fund, and the TV BRICS international media network, supported by the Global Energy Association, the Russian Energy Agency (REA) of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the National Committee for Economic Cooperation with Latin American Countries, and the Presidential Grants Fund.
