A key member of ShinyHunters, identified as Saif al-Din Khader, allegedly known as "Rey", has reportedly been detained in Jordan and is now cooperating with the FBI to identify other members of the hacking group.
According to Reuters, citing sources familiar with the matter, Khader was taken into custody on Tuesday.
Khader previously claimed in 2025 that he was already cooperating with law enforcement, although the claim could not be independently verified.
