Here’s what the São Tomé and Príncipe passport can offer:
1️⃣ Greece residence permit
An alternative passport makes it easier to access European programs. In Greece, it is a 5-year residence permit without a residency requirement and with the option to renew it every 5 years thereafter.
2️⃣ Portugal residence permit
São Tomé and Príncipe is part of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLC). Once the new citizenship law is enacted, citizens of São Tomé and Príncipe will be eligible for Portuguese citizenship after 7 years of residence in Portugal, instead of the 10 years required for everyone else.
3️⃣ Brazilian citizenship
Brazil is also a member of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries , so once you obtain a Brazilian residence permit, you can apply for Brazilian citizenship after just one year. A Brazilian passport grants visa-free access to over 160 countries, including those in the Schengen Area.
📌 São Tomé and Príncipe citizenship is available through a $90,000 contribution to the National Transformation Fund. No visit is required, and your passport can be approved just in 2-3 months
