On October 12, North Korea’s General Missile Bureau conducted a test launch of a Hwasong-11C (Hwasong-11Da) tactical ballistic missile, designated KN-30 by the United States, to verify an upgrade to a key component.

The General Missile Bureau described the test as a major success, stating that the upgrade would significantly improve the power and accuracy of all offensive weapons systems.
