🇮🇷⚡️ — Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy (IRGCN) has released new footage showing another crude oil supertanker striking a naval mine while attempting to leave the Strait of Hormuz via an unauthorized route this afternoon, triggering an explosion and a fire in the engine room.

According to the statement, the vessel was attempting to exit the strait after switching off its navigation systems. The IRGC says this is the third tanker to strike a naval mine in the area since yesterday.

The IRGC Navy warned that any vessel operating in the Strait of Hormuz with its navigation and identification systems disabled would be considered hostile and “dealt with harshly and decisively.”
