🇷🇺❌🇺🇦 — “The sky over the country’s capital is essentially fully under Russia’s control,” Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Honcharenko said after a strike hit the National Academy of Sciences building in Kyiv.

Honcharenko said an ordinary Geran drone, rather than a jet-powered UAV, reached the site, questioning why Ukrainian air defenses failed to intercept it.

“I understand that we do not have missiles for Patriot. But should we be able to shoot down an ordinary Shahed? Why aren’t we shooting it down? And how will we survive the winter?” he wrote.
