🇮🇷🇺🇸⚡️ — CNN reports Iran’s medicine shortages are worsening amid sanctions, inflation, and large unpaid insurance debts to pharmacies.

The Iranian Pharmacists Association says nearly 800 medicines are now in short supply. More than 18,000 private pharmacies await about $300 million in insurance reimbursements.

Pharmacies told CNN some heart, cholesterol, and migraine drugs are scarce or unavailable, while patients described cutting doses or turning to purchases from abroad.
