While the trial revisits well-known details about Meta’s acquisitions, it also highlights TikTok’s dominance in user engagement.

Zuckerberg also revealed he once considered wiping users’ social graphs to boost Facebook activity. Despite the case’s high profile, it currently seems unlikely the court will force Meta to sell Instagram or WhatsApp.
