Three men involved in a $2.6 million jewelry heist in Beverly Hills were jailed after leaving behind a cell phone and boasting on Instagram. The robbers, led by Ladell Tharpe, 39, used sledgehammers to steal from an upscale store in 2022.

Vernon dropped his phone during the raid, providing a clue, and Tharpe later posted images of cash with the caption "Robbery Gang." Vernon and Deshon Bell, 22, admitted to the crime, with Vernon sentenced to six years and Bell to one year in prison. Tharpe received a seven-year sentence.
