📲 Meta to begin testing Community Notes feature across Facebook, Instagram and Threads
#news #Insta

Meta is testing a new “Community Notes” feature on Facebook, Instagram, and Threads, starting on March 18, 2025. This initiative, following Meta’s move away from third-party fact-checking, allows users to write and rate notes on content. Community Notes aims to be less biased by involving a broader range of perspectives.

Around 200,000 contributors have signed up, with notes initially undergoing testing before being published. Notes will be limited to 500 characters and must include a supporting link. The program will not apply to advertisements.
