📍London Stock Exchange is moving toward tokenized UK shares.
This is probably the biggest RWA headline today. The London Stock Exchange Group announced a partnership with Payward, the parent company of Kraken, to explore tokenized UK-listed shares. The plan is for blockchain-based tokens representing UK equities, with the initiative targeting its new digital/night-time trading venue in 2027, subject to regulatory approval.
