The Indian Express ‘Duty bound to protect’: Madras High Court upholds school official’s POCSO conviction Rejecting the plea for leniency on account of the accused’s age, the court said the accused being 61 years old at the time of the incident and 68 at the time of the plea didn't justify reducing his sentence for sexually assaulting the 10-year old girl.
