ISRO will launch PSLV C-43 HysIS mission today along with other 31 satellites
The best part of the story is that HysIS (Hyper Spectral Imaging Satellite) is a sophisticated spy satellite equipped with ultra-high resolution cameras and dual-band spectrometers.
HysIS will assist the Indian military in realtime tracking of enemy targets (even during night-time) deep inside Pakistan and China by using Visible and Near Infrared (VNIR) and Short Wave Infrared (SWIR) technologies.
A medium-lift Core Alone (CA) version of PSLV rocket will be used for launching the satellite into Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO) at 9:58AM Today.
