🔻 THE JFK STORY DIDN’T END IN DALLAS. IT ENDED INSIDE MILLIONS OF PAGES MOST AMERICANS WILL NEVER READ.
For more than six decades, Americans have been told the basic sequence: November 22, 1963, Dealey Plaza, three shots investigated, Lee Harvey Oswald arrested, Jack Ruby kills Oswald two days later, and the Warren Commission ultimately concludes that Oswald acted alone.
But here is the part worth reopening.
The National Archives now holds more than SIX MILLION pages of JFK assassination-related records, photographs, recordings, films and artifacts. After another massive declassification push beginning in 2025, thousands of previously withheld or redacted records became publicly accessible, and on January 30, 2026, another 11,022 pages were released.
Yet one location keeps appearing when researchers go backward through Oswald’s final months:
MEXICO CITY.
Weeks before Kennedy was murdered, Oswald traveled there and contacted the Soviet and Cuban diplomatic missions. U.S. intelligence was monitoring those facilities. Records show that calls involving Oswald were intercepted, and historians examining the released material have raised a simple question that has survived longer than almost every conspiracy theory surrounding JFK:
How much did American intelligence actually know about Oswald before November 22?
That question matters because newly accessible records illuminate far more than one assassination. They expose pieces of the enormous Cold War intelligence architecture operating behind the visible government — surveillance networks, informants, covert operations and relationships that ordinary Americans were never supposed to see.
None of the released material proves the internet’s favorite theories about a second gunman or a CIA assassination plot. That distinction matters.
But something else matters too:
Why did it take more than 60 years for Americans to see material connected to the murder of their own President?
1963 → 2025 → 2026.
63 years. Millions of pages. One unanswered question: what was considered too sensitive for the public to see?
Don’t argue about the shooter yet.
Follow the timeline.
Follow Mexico City.
Follow what was known before Dallas.
