🚨 Banks could soon use XRPL without sharing full key access

A new XRPL upgrade has entered a 14-day activation countdown after 29 of 35 trusted validators backed it, putting activation on track for Oct. 5 if support stays above the threshold

👉 Limited permissions can be given to separate accounts
👉 Payments and compliance duties can be split across different systems
👉 Full account keys can stay offline instead of being shared
👉 Permissions can be limited and revoked when needed

Banks and regulated firms usually need strict separation between compliance, payments and key management. XRPL is moving closer to that structure by letting specific tasks be handled without giving another system full control of the main account

A previous version was pulled after a vulnerability was found, so this retry matters because the issue has been addressed before another activation attempt
