Newly declassified CIA documents from 1988 show Osama Bin Laden already had operatives living in the United States years before the 9/11 attacks

September 1, 1998 — three years before 9/11 — CIA told the White House that multiple Bin Laden associates were already inside the country.

A U.S. citizen who ran the Nairobi cell was living in Dallas under FBI watch. Another associate in Sacramento claimed he trained Bin Laden’s bodyguards. One in Tampa was buying high-tech comms and surveillance gear and had Hamas ties. FBI was hunting a possible weapons and explosives official last seen in the U.S.

They also knew he was using Islamic NGOs as cover. Mercy International had offices in Michigan and California. The New York office of a group he helped found was already tied to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

They knew the names, the cities, and the front groups.

Bill Clinton knew. They did absolutely nothing.
