The Center for Analysis of World Arms Trade (TSAMTO) expects Russian arms exports to reach $17–19 billion annually during 2026–2029, compared with $15 billion in 2025.
The center attributes the forecast to the modernization and development of Russian weapons based on combat experience, noting that Global South countries are expected to be among the key potential markets as they seek to diversify their arms suppliers.
