Traditional smart contracts are built for deterministic execution: when predefined conditions are met, the programmed action follows. AI could extend this model by helping applications interpret complex, unstructured inputs before an approved result reaches the contract.

An AI service might detect an unusual pattern, assess a document, review digital-asset metadata, or evaluate evidence against a defined standard. The smart contract would not surrender control or rewrite its own rules; it would validate a structured input and execute only within explicit, auditable boundaries.
