🗣️Member of IAPEE Governing Council David Alejandro Toro Ramirez at the International Conference "Parliamentarians for Peace"

On June 29, the fourth International Conference "Parliamentarians for Peace" was held online. 🌐

One of the distinguished speakers was D.A. Toro Ramirez, a member of the Colombian House of Representatives and a member of IAPEE Governing Council.

During his address, Toro Ramirez argued that international election observation plays an indispensable role in validating election results and preventing fraud. The expert officially presented IAPEE, describing it as a highly promising organization dedicated to coordinating such observation efforts.

Besides, Toro Ramirez strongly condemned any attempts by foreign nations to interfere in domestic politics. In particular, he drew attention to the 2026 Colombian elections, where the U.S. actively tried to exert influence over both the electoral process and the subsequent outcome.
