i feel like this "cycle" was very different from the previous ones because people genuinely believed it would be easy and that all patterns repeat exactly the same every time. everyone was expecting an alt season right after btc made new aths, which is exactly why it didn’t happen. plus, this cycle had totally new catalysts like trump, etfs, countries adopting btc, mstr, etc.
now the sentiment has completely flipped. most people are bear as fuck, but bitcoin is probably just going to chop around 100k for a while- some whales taking profit at the psychological level while institutional players accumulate moar
and that’s where things could get interesting. what if something like zec, which is basically positioned as a “bitcoin competitor” ends up becoming an unexpected catalyst for an alt season? especially if we also get a run on og memes (like pepe/mog back in may 2023). wojak lmao coded.
macro-wise things still look bullish. you can’t call for a top off a single ta indicator. we’ve got rate cuts and qe coming, trump wanting to run the economy, crypto catching real global attention and big institutions slowly rotating in. one bearish marker doesn’t override all of that imo.
and on top of everything, we just had a massive leverage flush. literally everyone got raped throughout 2025. i doubt it gets much worse from here. not saying go all in, but it does feel like a great moment to dca into a few narratives and some multi-cycle memes that can actually survive.
haven’t seen a runner like this in ages- organic PVE with a confluence of top CT accounts. overall bullish for the trenches if you think about it. glad we’re back to pushing actual OG memes again.
second bag secured too. started DCAing $LMAO yesterday at 1–1.5M mc (now 2.2M). sling is pushing it (he sent titcoin and usduc to almost 100M mc), and now he wants to repeat it with LMAO. he’s one of the biggest bagworkers out there. a lot of people i respect are also pushing. feels similar to MOG ngl on sol. and it has a very active community.
