been thinking abt 3 things that imo matter a lot for how i wanna trade the rest of this cycle

1. almost none of the memes from previous cycles will ever see ATHs again

2. a bunch of the memes from this cycle that will eventually go $1B+ are already here, and the market has made some of them pretty obvious by now

3. a bunch of the future $1B+ winners prob dont even exist yet

the first one is pretty simple. memes are mostly attention, novelty and reflexivity. every cycle creates a new gen of coins that steals attention from the old one. there will always be exceptions obv, but buying some random old meme bc “it used to be way higher” is prob one of the worst ways to allocate capital

the second point is the one im trading around the most rn. $1B runners usually dont just teleport there. the market gives u clues before that. they survive nasty drawdowns, keep a real community, regain attention after ppl think theyre dead, build deeper liquidity, get accumulated by ppl with size, develop lore and somehow keep finding reasons to stay relevant

so imo some of the next $1B+ memes are literally sitting in front of us at 100-300M mc rn. nothing is guaranteed obviously, but at this point the market has already done a lot of the filtering for u

thats why id much rather use most of my ammo accumulating a concentrated basket of proven names i think can go from 100-200M into billions than spread myself across 30 random trenches praying one does a 100x

but point #3 matters just as much. every new phase of a bull market creates new characters, new chains, new products, new metas, new cultural moments etc. some of the biggest winners of this cycle prob havent even launched yet bc the event/narrative that creates them hasnt happened yet

so the play isnt to marry todays watchlist and assume we already know every winner either

accumulate the obvious winners while the market is giving u the chance, but stay liquid/open minded enough to recognize the next one when it shows up
