getting the same balls tingling feeling i had in early 2023 when the last cycle was just starting lol. and @blknoiz06’s post just reinforced it bc i’m pretty much on the same page

i think 2026/27 is gonna have an absurd amount of ppl making life changing money trading onchain but the biggest difference this time is we’re gonna watch them (us) get rich in public

before, you’d usually find out someone had a huge run from some pnl screenshot in tg or a tweet after it already happened

with social trading apps like @pumpfun that changes a lot. public pnl, leaderboards, ppl watching the run play out instead of only hearing about it after

i can easily imagine streamers way outside the ct bubble eventually moving from say sports betting into punting low caps just to compete for leaderboard spots

“ENTERTAINMENT FINANCE” is prob the key concept here imo

trading becoming content / spectator sport. pnl becoming content itself. every new winner pulling in another wave of ppl thinking they can do the same

the core idea is there’s an entire generation that increasingly feels like the traditional path to wealth just doesn’t work for them anymore. meanwhile they’re watching ppl get rich online every single day, so naturally they keep moving further down the risk curve looking for a way out

crypto already captured a lot of that demand last cycle

what feels different now is the distribution. products are way easier to use, trading is becoming mobile + social, markets that used to require way more knowledge/setup are accessible to basically anyone, and good traders can build an audience around a track record that’s actually verifiable

if this keeps converging i think we’re gonna see that thesis play out at a way bigger scale than last cycle
