The shop is still quiet. Soft sunlight slips through the window of my little bloemenwinkel, touching glass vases and muted tones around me. I like this moment—before orders arrive, before other people’s stories travel with the flowers they choose.
If you stop by, I’ll only ask something simple:
“For whom are the flowers today?”
Sometimes the answer is happiness. Sometimes silence is more than enough. And my work remains the same—arranging something that can speak feelings without needing many words.
