When it comes to resident evil movies, some refuse to watch only because "but i haven't played the games" or "but i haven't watched the rest of the movies" BUT HEAR ME OUT, you don't need to... at least not for this one. Unlike other movies that followed the story of a zombie hybrid named alice, or the games that followed leon kennedy, this movie has it's own main character. It's just built in the world of the resident evil and has nothing to do with other characters. It's fun, it's game accurate, and it's kinda chaotic. The only problem is that you may see some people, nagging about the ending, but let me remind you that only three people managed to survive the raccoon city, therefore the ending was pretty realistic. Besides all this things, i think the movie did a great job hiding a huge angst behind those funny, silly scenes. I mean it takes a soul to see what's really happening which i can't explain clearly because that would be a spoil, but like every other horror movie that we got this year, this one is resembling something other than monsters. And let me give you a hint so you can challenge yourself and see if you can understand what's really happening or not, the real horror in this movie is pregnancy.
