There’s a cavity in my heart where the longing of my soul echoes, reverberating from wall to wall until freed. Desire ripples and grows yearning for release; every thought a drop in the ocean, slowly expanding until the waves are meters high. Like a ship crossing the Strait of Magellan into deep sea waters, my body reels from the turbulent ride. I cling tight to the walls of my mind, not ready to embrace a new frontier.

Here enters the light. A beam of sun, refracted rays through broken glass. Ribbons billowing slowly through the mountain air. A laugh echoes through the clouded valley. The walls begin to crack, stones crumble down the hillside as sheep begin to run in circles, escaping their latest fears.
