🇷🇺_Satellite imagery indicates that Russia is replenishing its long-term military storage bases with new and refurbished armored vehicles, following the depletion of many such stocks earlier in the war, according to open-source analysis and Radio Svoboda.
At the 22nd Central Tank Storage Base in Kostroma—located approximately 500 kilometers from the Baltic states—analysts have identified around 57 new T-90M tanks, alongside new BTR-82A and BMP-3M vehicles.
Hundreds of refurbished tanks and armored combat vehicles have also appeared at another base in the Altai Krai region, while other sites are receiving new artillery systems.
Analysts suggest that Russian tank production—estimated at approximately 200–290 T-90M units annually—now appears to be outpacing frontline losses, partly because the prevalence of drones has made tank-heavy offensives less common.
