๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช-An AfD youth wing board member resigned after posting a map on German Unity Day showing Germany with expanded borders including Alsace-Lorraine, parts of Austria, Poland, Hungary, and Italy.

Luca Maurice Strauf captioned it:

German Unity means one Germany that unites the entire German people in one state โ€” calling October 3rd a โ€œmilestone victoryโ€ toward that goal.

He deleted the post but then doubled down, calling for โ€œcourage for truthโ€ and saying Germans needed to be โ€œtaught to walk upright again.โ€

The AfD federal board pressured him to quit, with MP Torben Braga calling the post โ€œunbelievably stupid.โ€

He officially resigned citing โ€œpersonal reasons.โ€
