As part of the exhibition "Seen. Heard. Present.", created in partnership with the Israel Women's Network, we invite you to a screening of 'The Day I Became a Woman' (2000), the acclaimed debut feature by Iranian filmmaker Marzieh Meshkini.
Through three interconnected stories - a young girl on the threshold of womanhood, a cyclist refusing to stop, and an elderly woman pursuing long-denied dreams - the film traces a journey through different stages of a woman's life. Poetic, surreal, and deeply moving, it offers a powerful reflection on autonomy, gender, and the choices that shape a life.
