NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter has revealed a new crater on the Moon, named McGetchin, measuring 728 feet (222 meters) wide and 141 feet (43 meters) deep. Scientists estimate that the impact that formed the crater may have occurred between April 11 and May 22, 2024.
