The Union health and family welfare ministry has proposed amendments to the Drugs Rules, 1945, to mandate medical stores to install CCTV cameras to monitor the unauthorised sale of Schedule H, H1 and X drugs. The proposed amendment seeks to strengthen regulatory oversight and address concerns relating to unauthorised access and sale of such drugs.
