Prime Minister Narendra Modi told Chinese President Xi Jinping that India-China ties should be guided by “mutual respect, mutual interest, and mutual sensitivity” during their bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said Modi also referred to India’s concerns and underlined that both sides should show sensitivity towards each other’s “core concerns”.
