​System Administrator/ DevOps Engineer

Looking for a System Administrator/ DevOps Engineer. Main focus will be on system administration with partial use of DevOps practices.

You should be ready to work in EST time zone or close to it.

What you will do:

☑️ Resolve technical problems related to colleagues' workstations, office equipment (GNU Linux, Windows). Requests from employees come through Jira.
☑️ Implement integration between different services (e.g. integration of Jira workbooks with self-written billing system).
☑️ Provide uninterrupted operation of services: GitLab, Jira, Upsource, Jenkins, build and test servers, hardware testbeds.
☑️ Monitore service operability, analyze incidents. Automate routine operations, select technical tools to solve problems.
☑️ Control user accesses (LDAP, Google GSuite). Organize and control data backup.
☑️ Maintain infrastructure, take part in new projects, security checks.
☑️ Assist clients in technical tasks if necessary.

What we expect from a future team member :

☑️ Experience as a Linux system administrator for 3 years or more, including Jira and MySQL administration.
☑️ Experience in administering Java applications.
☑️ Experience in Git, Docker, Docker Compose.
☑️ Experience in networking (routing, VPN).
☑️ Ability to automate your activities, write small services and scripts (Java, Bash, Python, Groovy).
☑️ Upper intermediate English (B2) or higher.
☑️ Work in EST time zone or close to it.
