🙂 Students Are Using ChatGPT-Enabled Calculators to Cheat on Exams

American students have started using the TI-84 Plus calculator to cheat during exams. Young hackers modified the device, integrating OpenAI's language model, ChatGPT, transforming a standard graphing calculator into the perfect cheating tool.

The Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus is a programmable calculator for complex mathematical calculations, graphing, and data analysis. It's trendy among students in the U.S. and is often allowed in exam settings.

The hack enables the calculator to use the built-in "send" and "get" commands to transfer files. You can send text and other data to a hidden card inside the calculator, which connects to the internet to access ChatGPT.
