📱 Moohan—The First Android XR Glasses by Google and Samsung

Google and Samsung are working on a joint project: the XR headset called Moohan (translated from Korean as "infinity") based on an entirely new Android XR platform. The glasses will feature AI integration and gesture-based controls.

🕶 What We Know About Moohan

Moohan is not just a pair of glasses. It's a digital assistant powered by Gemini AI on the Android XR platform, which Google is specifically developing for augmented reality glasses. The device will recognize speech and track the wearer's eye and hand movements, making interaction with the technology as simple and intuitive as possible.

Samsung showcased the capabilities of its XR headset with a virtual tour of Florence via YouTube VR. Users can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Italian city by simply asking their glasses and accessing a dedicated section on YouTube.

Moohan is expected to hit the market in 2025.

🖼️ Android XR—A Major Step Toward AI Agents

The concept of Android XR revolves around integrating AI agents into familiar apps on the platform. Advanced agents will enhance the user experience with immersive interactions and be capable of fully controlling the glasses on behalf of the wearer.
