WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR ANIMAL POOP

Some manures have to be aged/composted before putting into your garden, some don't. Here's a quick list differentiating the two.

AGE THIS MANURE
Cow
Horse
Donkey
Any fowl
Pig (similar to humanure)

SLAP THAT ON IN!
Sheep
Goat
Alpaca
Llama
Rabbit

Horses and other large animals are particularly great for producing quantities of poop that can transform entire gardens. Animals may be great for food and lawn mowing, but definitely don't underestimate the power of their butts and their role on a healthy farm.

Even if you don't have animals of your own, don't be afraid to ask neighbors if they're willing to part with their livestock's poop. Amending soil can be expensive, so be as resourceful as you can!
