Making your own compost is easy, and helps you close the loop of your garden's ecosystem for increased self sufficiency.

Instead of tossing scraps and green waste somewhere where they'll just be wasted, you can feed it back into your system to boost the productivity of your plants.

Here is a quick infographic on the basics of composting, but there is also a book dedicated to the topic available for download here. For composting that's a little unorthodox, try bokashi.
