Hat cont.
If you think you don't need a hat because you have sunglasses, well, that's a huge mistake.
Sunglasses let light in from the sides, silly. They're great for walking in-between your car and the entrance of the Cheesecake Factory, but what will you do when mother nature is drilling a beam of light into your head for hours every day, or when they break under the inevitable pressures innawoods?
I actually double up sunglasses with hats when I can. If I can only use one, I use the hat. The sun beating on your forehead and peaking down the top of your sunglasses will surely cause a headache.
Also, the boonie hat has snaps on the sides of the brim, so you can snap them up to look kind of like a mega-cool cowboy hat - but without the weight of a big piece of leather.
Tip: a baseball cap makes you look goofy and not very serious. It also won't cover your neck at all.
