⚡ A Russian deputy organized a mining farm in his garage
The Prosecutor's Office of the Novosibirsk Region has charged 28-year-old Alik Nersisyan, a deputy of the Krivodanovsky Village Council, with causing damage to the energy company “RES” to the amount of at least 6.5 million rubles. From June 2022 to June 2023, Nersisyan illegally connected his mining farm, located in a garage, to an overhead power line using special piercing clamps. During the search, 16 mining devices were seized. The case was sent to the district court, the deputy faces up to five years in prison, and his property worth 1.2 million rubles was arrested.
