Play-to-Burn: you play the game, activity triggers the mechanism, and eligible fees contribute to the burn.

Profit Share: the ecosystem generates revenue, and participants share in the defined economic model.

Two mechanisms, one idea: connect real GameFi activity to the ecosystem economy.

Why Does GameFi Need Real Players?

A large user count doesn't automatically mean a healthy GameFi ecosystem.

What matters is what users actually do.

→ Play the games
→ Return after their first session
→ Explore different products
→ Participate in the ecosystem
→ Keep coming back

That’s why HCOW focuses on real player behaviour, not just registrations.

Because in GameFi, users create the activity that makes the ecosystem work.

📢 COMMUNITY UPDATE

Over the next two weeks, the HCOW team may be a little slower than usual in responding to community messages and enquiries.

Our team will be travelling for Korea Blockchain Week (KBW) and TOKEN2049 Singapore, so response times may be longer while we’re on the road.

If you’re attending either event, there’s also an opportunity to meet HashCow Founder Mark Lee in person.

If you’d like to arrange a meeting, send Mark a DM on X and coordinate directly.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while the team is travelling.

See you at KBW and TOKEN2049.

What Makes a GameFi Ecosystem More Than Just Games?

A GameFi ecosystem is not simply a collection of games.

It connects several layers:

🎮 Games — where users participate
⚙️ Technology — supporting the experience
👥 Community — bringing users together
🔄 Ecosystem mechanisms — connecting activity across products
💰 Economics — giving the ecosystem a sustainable structure

HCOW is building these layers together, with the goal of turning individual games into a connected ecosystem.

The game is the entry point. The ecosystem is the bigger picture.

Why Does HCOW Build Before TGE?

A token launch is not the starting point of an ecosystem.

The foundation comes first:

→ Build real games
→ Test player behaviour
→ Improve the products
→ Build community participation
→ Develop the ecosystem
→ Then introduce the token economy

For HCOW, building before TGE means the ecosystem can be tested with real products and real users first.

The goal is simple:

Build the ecosystem first. Make the token part of it.

What Actually Makes a GameFi Economy Sustainable?

A project can have good games, solid tech and a token. That alone does not make an economy. The question worth asking is simpler: where does the economic activity actually come from?

It starts with products, not the token.

Players need a reason to show up that exists without token speculation. Games create the activity. The ecosystem creates the different ways to take part. Without products people actually use, the economic layer has nothing underneath it.

Then activity, not arrivals.

A sustainable economy needs more than new users showing up. It needs
players who play, come back, try other products and keep participating. Usage is the foundation for everything after it.

This is why retention matters more than acquisition. If an ecosystem
has to keep replacing the users it loses, growth is hard to hold. The stronger loop is: acquire, play, return, explore, participate. The longer that loop runs, the more useful the ecosystem becomes.

Then economic design.

A token should not sit outside the products. It should have a defined
role inside the ecosystem, through utility, participation or incentives. What matters is that the economics connect back to real activity.

Two of the mechanisms designed for HCOW work that way. Profit Share
routes a defined share of ecosystem profit on chain. Play-to-Burn ties supply reduction to gameplay. Both are written as designs and contracts. Neither is live on chain today. They go live with TGE, and we will say so plainly when they do.

Multiple entry points.

Different games bring different people. One player arrives through a
casual game, another through HCOW Spin, another through something else. More doors into the same ecosystem is a wider base than one
game with one audience.

Verifiability.

We are building a fairness engine so that game outcomes can be checked rather than taken on faith. It is written and it has been through repeated internal adversarial review. It is not yet connected to the games and it is not yet writing to chain. That work starts after TGE. We would rather describe it this way than claim it already runs.

So the loop looks like this:

Products → Players → Activity → Economic mechanisms →
Ecosystem growth → Better products

The token sits inside that economy. It should not have to carry it.

That is why we built HCOW before TGE rather than after. Build the products. Watch how players actually behave. Fix the ecosystem. Get
the mechanisms written and reviewed. Then the token joins an economy that already exists, instead of being the reason one is supposed to appear.

What Is Play-to-Burn?

What happens when activity inside a GameFi ecosystem can reduce token supply?

That’s the idea behind Play-to-Burn.

In HCOW, a portion of eligible ecosystem activity is directed towards token burning.

The concept creates a simple connection:

Play → Activity → Burn

The important part is that the mechanism is connected to actual product usage, rather than being based purely on speculation.

HCOW’s goal is to build an ecosystem where gameplay and participation have a role beyond simply generating clicks.

Real activity should matter.

HCOW Spin is more than a single entry point into the ecosystem.

It brings multiple HCOW activities together in one place — games, missions, spins, mining, points and referrals.

The idea is simple: make it easier for users to discover different parts of HCOW, participate at their own pace, and explore more of the ecosystem.

What Is a GameFi Ecosystem Really?

GameFi is more than putting a token inside a game.

It combines gameplay, technology, community and economic systems into one environment.

The game creates the experience.
Technology supports the mechanics.
Community creates participation.
The economic layer connects activity across the ecosystem.

When these parts work together, the result is more than a single game with a token.

That’s the ecosystem HCOW is building.

🔧 FIXES SHIPPED — SESSIONS, DAILY CHALLENGE, ANTI-ABUSE

Several of you reported things that didn't add up. You were right, and we've fixed them. Here's what changed.

1️⃣ PLAYS THAT DIDN'T REGISTER

If you closed a game and didn't return to the app, the session stayed open and the play often didn't count — not for rewards, not for the Daily Challenge, not for Season 1. This hit repeat plays of the same game hardest.

It's fixed. Sessions now close on their own when you come back to the app, and we're clearing the backlog of stuck sessions as people return.

2️⃣ DAILY CHALLENGE — "PLAY TWICE"

Because of the above, the two-session challenge was impossible to complete. Nobody was doing it wrong. That type is working now.

3️⃣ ANTI-ABUSE FLAGGED SOME REAL PLAYERS

Our filter was too aggressive and excluded a small number of legitimate players from contributor scores. Those players did nothing wrong. Affected scores correct themselves in tonight's recalculation.

We also closed a gap in the other direction. Nothing more on that one.

✅ TWO THINGS THAT MAKE A PLAY COUNT

Play at least 60 seconds. The in-game reward starts at 30 seconds, but Season 1 needs a full minute. That gap was never stated clearly and that's on us.

Then return to the app. That's what closes the session out.

🌱 SEASON 1 STATUS

The acquisition window is closed, so no new players join a cohort. But everyone already in yours keeps earning you points until 30 September — their 24-72h return, their second game, their Day-7. Keep nudging them.

Thanks to everyone who reported instead of assuming it was their own fault. That's how these got found.

Why HCOW Has Multiple Ways to Participate

Not everyone joins a GameFi ecosystem for the same reason.

Some users want to play.
Some want to explore new products.
Some contribute through content.
Others bring friends or provide feedback.

HCOW is designed with multiple entry points so participation doesn’t depend on a single product or activity.

Different users. Different paths. One ecosystem.

Why Retention Matters More Than Reach

Getting someone to discover a GameFi project is only the first step.

The more important question is what happens after the first interaction.

Do they come back?
Do they try another product?
Do they remain active?
Do they become part of the ecosystem?

That’s why measuring retention and repeat activity can tell us more than simple user counts.

For HCOW, the focus is moving beyond “How many joined?” toward:

“How many stayed?”

That distinction matters when building for the long term.

⏳ HCOW SEASON 1 — FINAL DAY TO BRING PLAYERS

The acquisition window closes 16 September, 23:59:59 UTC. After that, new players are no longer attributed to anyone.

🔑 READ THIS PART FIRST

The deadline stops new players from joining your cohort. It does NOT stop your points.

Everyone you bring before the deadline keeps earning you points all the way to 30 September — their 24-72h return, their second game, their Day-7 milestone. A player you bring today is still generating points for you two weeks from now. So bringing someone on the last day is not too late. It is the opposite: it is the last chance to start a two-week scoring clock.

📍 HOW TO GET YOUR LINK

There is no application and no signup. Every account already has a contributor link. Open HCOW Spin → Season tab (bottom right) → your link is at the bottom under "Your invite link". Copy it and share it.

If your Season Score shows 0, it means nobody has played through your link yet — not that you are excluded.

🎯 HOW YOU SCORE

Clicks and signups are worth nothing. The person has to actually play. Each player you bring can earn you up to 5 points:

+1 — completes their first qualifying game
+1 — returns and plays again 24-72 hours later
+1 — tries a different HCOW game
+2 — still active in their Day-7 window

Day-7 is worth double everything else. Someone who installs today reaches their Day-7 on 23 September, comfortably inside the Season. Someone who installs after the window closes is not counted at all.

🏆 PRIZES

250 USDT + 2,500 HCOW split among the top 5 contributors. HCOW is allocated as promised and becomes transferable at TGE.

Right now the gap between 5th place and nothing at all is a handful of points. A few real players brought today can put you in the top 5.

🔍 FAIRNESS

All participation goes through anti-abuse review. Accounts created to farm points, fake activity, and other manipulation are excluded. If a significant portion of a contributor's cohort is fraudulent, the entire entry may be disqualified — including the legitimate accounts in it. One contributor has already been disqualified under this rule.

Bring real players. Encourage real activity. Season 1 exists to measure whether community-brought players actually stay, and the raw results will be published on 1 October either way.

🏆 HCOW SEASON 1 — COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTOR PROGRAM

Season 1 is designed to measure real players, real activity and meaningful retention — not simply clicks or registrations.

250 USDT + 2,500 HCOW is reserved for the top 5 contributors. The HCOW allocation will be credited as promised and will become transferable at TGE.

Each eligible player you bring can contribute up to 5 Season Score points:

• +1 — Completes their first qualifying game
• +1 — Returns 24–72 hours later
• +1 — Plays a different HCOW game
• +2 — Remains active in the Day-7 window

⏰ Acquisition closes: 16 September, 23:59:59 UTC

After the acquisition window closes, no new players will count. Players already attributed to your cohort can continue earning points until the Season ends on 30 September.

🔍 Fairness & Verification

All participation is reviewed through our anti-abuse checks. Accounts created to farm points, fake activity and other forms of manipulation will be excluded.

If a significant portion of a contributor’s cohort is found to be fraudulent, the entire entry may be disqualified, including otherwise legitimate accounts.

Your contributor link is available in the Season tab inside HCOW Spin. Every account has a link — no application or signup required.

Bring real players. Encourage real activity. Help us measure what Season 1 is actually built to measure.

Why GameFi Needs More Than One Game

Different players look for different experiences.

Some prefer strategy.
Some prefer fast, competitive gameplay.
Others enjoy casual games or daily challenges.

That’s why a GameFi ecosystem can benefit from multiple game experiences instead of relying on a single title.

For HCOW, each game can become another entry point into the wider ecosystem.

More experiences. More ways to participate. One connected ecosystem.
