NIAC Action is taking the fight to court.

On September 24, 2026, NIAC Action filed a federal lawsuit challenging President Donald Trump’s ongoing war against Iran, arguing that the President is waging an unconstitutional war without authorization from Congress. The case is brought on behalf of NIAC Action and members whose families in Iran have been killed, injured, displaced, and put in continuing danger by the war, and asks the court to declare that the President’s ongoing military campaign violates the Constitution’s Declare War Clause.
