“The Goat”
A short comic that I made during the past winter, which was a very challenging time and, …honestly, never really ended.
For me, the way nomads created art is similar to the way I feel about creating comics: it’s evidence that I existed during this period of time, a record of what we believed in and how we survived different seasons of this land.
The story is about a family in Khorasan in the 1880s, when cold weather and hunger are crushing people’s souls, while a hungry Russian squad is looking for a way to survive.
